VerifiedAgent.com | Effective September 28, 2026
This policy governs everyone who searches, registers, claims a profile, uploads content, writes reviews, replies to reviews, reports a profile, or uses automated access on VerifiedAgent.com. It is part of the Terms of Service. Use the site in a way that helps consumers assess insurance producers accurately and safely.
1. Truthful identity and licensing claims
Do not impersonate an agent, reviewer, agency, insurer, regulator, or site employee. Do not claim another person’s NPN or account, submit false credentials, misrepresent licensure or carrier appointments, or present a claimed badge as government verification. Do not create accounts with false or misleading information, evade a suspension, or misuse another person’s email or verification code.
2. Reviews and ratings
Post only a genuine, firsthand experience with the named agent. Describe what you personally observed; separate opinion from factual allegations. Do not invent customers, use AI to fabricate an experience, post on behalf of someone without their authorization, review yourself, arrange review rings, post duplicate reviews to alter rankings, or coordinate attacks on a competitor. Do not offer or accept payment, gifts, discounts, or other benefits contingent on a positive rating, negative rating, change, or deletion.
Disclose any material connection to the agent or agency, including employment, family relationship, compensation, or a relevant incentive. A critical review is welcome if it follows these rules. Do not threaten litigation, retaliation, or loss of service to suppress a truthful negative review.
3. Agent responses and profile submissions
Agent replies may respond to a reviewer’s comments but must not reveal policy details, claims, health facts, private correspondence, addresses, account numbers, or other confidential client information. Do not retaliate against a reviewer, falsely accuse them of a crime, or use a reply as an advertisement unrelated to the feedback.
Profile edits must be accurate, current, and within your authority. Do not submit misleading titles, fabricated awards, false office locations, false plan offerings or insurer relationships, unauthorized logos or photographs, or links that redirect users deceptively.
4. Privacy and sensitive information
Do not publish another person’s private phone number, residential address, personal email, birth date, Social Security number, financial account, medical information, insurance policy number, claim number, verification code, or identity document without a lawful basis and explicit authorization where required. Do not post a customer’s health or policy history in a review or reply. Use private support channels for account issues and redact sensitive material before sending it.
5. Respectful and lawful content
Do not submit harassment, threats, stalking, hateful abuse, sexually explicit material, malicious allegations stated as fact without a reasonable basis, spam, phishing, fraud, illegal offers, or content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights. Do not use the service to solicit consumers through unsolicited bulk messages or to falsely imply that VerifiedAgent or a regulator endorses you.
6. Security and automated access
Do not bypass rate limits, CAPTCHAs, verification steps, account controls, or technical restrictions; probe vulnerabilities without written authorization; upload malware; interfere with availability; or access data or accounts without permission. Do not scrape, crawl at scale, bulk download, mirror, harvest contact details, train a model on substantial site content, or sell or redistribute our compilations without prior written permission. Ordinary search engine indexing in compliance with published controls is permitted unless otherwise restricted.
7. Restricted downstream uses
Do not use profiles, reviews, ratings, or reports to make or market employment, credit, housing, insurance underwriting, or similar eligibility decisions. Do not treat the directory as a background check or consumer report. Do not collect information from the site for harassment, identity theft, unauthorized marketing, or discriminatory targeting.
8. Reporting and moderation
Use the report feature for good faith concerns about data accuracy, impersonation, abuse, or other violations. Choose the destination carefully: a report sent to an agent may be emailed to that agent, while a report sent to site administrators is reviewed by our team. Do not submit knowingly false or repetitive reports to harass someone.
We may ask for evidence, compare official licensing records, temporarily limit visibility, add context, remove material, restrict accounts, or refer a matter to appropriate authorities. Moderation is based on these rules and available evidence, not whether a review is favorable. We cannot promise to resolve every dispute or act within a specific time. A person affected may request reconsideration through the contact channel.
9. Consequences and contact
Violations may result in warnings, removal of specific content, rate limits, account suspension or termination, and appropriate legal action. We may preserve relevant information where lawful. Questions, corrections, appeals, and reports can be sent to the support department. Effective September 28, 2026.
