Agents and visitors can report incorrect profile information, mistaken identity, impersonation, or questionable reviews. This page describes how to submit a useful report and what happens next.
Request a profile correction
On the profile, use “Report Profile” when available, or email support department. Include the profile URL or NPN, the exact field, the proposed correction, and an official or otherwise reliable source. For a mistaken identity or duplicate, explain which records were combined incorrectly. Do not include a Social Security number, full date of birth, medical record, or policyholder information.
Claiming and editing a profile
An eligible producer may use the site’s claim process and complete the required email code step. We may ask for additional evidence if ownership is disputed or the contact information conflicts with existing records. A claim does not transfer ownership of public licensing records. Some fields may remain tied to official source data and may require an update with the issuing regulator before we change them.
Review and agent reply disputes
Use the report mechanism or email support department to flag a review or reply. Give the URL, reason, and any evidence that can be shared without exposing a customer’s private information. We assess reports against our Review Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy. We may request more information, restrict access, add context, remove content, or leave it published. A disagreement with an honest opinion or a low rating alone is not a reason for removal.
What we can and cannot change
We can correct information under our control when supported by reliable evidence. We may retain a record of the request and the resolution to prevent abuse and satisfy legal obligations. We cannot change a state regulator’s record; request an official correction from that regulator when the source itself is wrong. Search engines and third-party copies may take additional time to reflect site updates.
Privacy and escalation
Submit private evidence through support department, not a public review or reply. We may verify the requester and may share a limited summary with the affected agent or reviewer when necessary to investigate. If a request is denied, you may send additional evidence to support department. Applicable privacy-law appeals should be handled under the Privacy Policy.
Items to confirm before publication
- Confirm working report flow and support addresses.
- Set internal response targets only if operationally supportable; do not promise a deadline you cannot meet.
- Define secure handling of identity evidence and how corrections propagate through imports.
