We welcome honest accounts of real experiences with insurance agents. These guidelines apply to visitor reviews, ratings, and agent replies and supplement our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
Who may submit a review
Review an agent only if you had a genuine first-hand interaction relevant to that agent’s insurance services. You do not have to have purchased a policy, but describe your own experience rather than rumors or another person’s account. Do not review yourself, impersonate another person, or submit a review on behalf of an undisclosed organization. If you have a personal, employment, financial, or family connection to the agent, disclose it clearly; certain conflicted submissions may be declined.
Be specific and protect privacy
Explain what happened in a fair, relevant way. You may praise or criticize an agent, including a negative experience. Do not post policy numbers, medical history, financial account data, home addresses, private phone numbers, or another person’s confidential information. Do not make threats, use hate speech, or present unsupported allegations of criminal or professional misconduct as established fact.
Verification and display
We may require an email code and a security check before accepting a review. This confirms access to an email address and helps reduce automated abuse; it does not prove a transaction occurred or independently validate every statement. The public display may show your first name and last initial, rating, and review text. We may retain your email, IP address, and related technical information privately for moderation and security as described in the Privacy Policy.
Incentives and manipulation
Do not buy, sell, fabricate, or coordinate reviews, submit multiple reviews intended to distort a rating, or condition compensation on a particular rating. Agents should not pressure clients to change or remove honest reviews, selectively solicit only positive feedback in a misleading way, or offer benefits for a positive review. Any permitted incentive must be clearly disclosed and cannot depend on sentiment.
Moderation and ordering
We may use automated checks and human review, and may decline, edit for privacy with appropriate care, limit, or remove submissions that violate these guidelines. We should apply standards consistently regardless of rating or whether an agent claims a profile. If reviews are sorted or filtered, the interface should explain the ordering. We do not guarantee that every submitted review is published or that every published statement is accurate.
Agent replies and disputes
Agents may reply in a professional manner without exposing client information or attempting to intimidate a reviewer. A claim to a profile does not give an agent control over genuine reviews. Report suspected fake, irrelevant, or policy-violating content through support department with the review URL and reason. We investigate credible reports and may request more information. Honest negative opinions are allowed.
