Privacy Policy

September 28, 2026

VerifiedAgent.com is a public directory of insurance producers. This policy describes the information we collect to operate profiles, accounts, reviews, and site security, and the choices available to you. In this draft, “we” means VerifiedAgency.com. The operator is based in Florida; applicable privacy rights may also depend on a visitor’s residence and our activities in other states.

Information we collect

We may receive producer names, National Producer Numbers (NPNs), licensing jurisdictions, license numbers and status, lines of authority, appointments, business contact details, and related profile information from public or authorized sources and from producers who update their profiles. The source and freshness of information can vary.

When you claim a profile or use an account, we collect the details you submit, such as name, email address, phone number, authentication or verification information, profile edits, photos, websites, social links, and communications with us. Verification codes are used to confirm access to an email or claim process; they do not establish government identity by themselves.

For reviews, we collect the reviewer name or displayed name, email address for verification, rating, review text, submission time, and technical information such as IP address used for abuse prevention. We may also collect reports about profiles or reviews and replies from agents.

When you visit, our systems and service providers may record device, browser, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, pages viewed, referral information, security events, and cookie or similar technology data. Our separate cookie notice or consent tool provides details about optional technologies where applicable.

How we use information

We use information to create and maintain directory listings; verify and administer claims and accounts; publish and moderate reviews and replies; answer corrections and disputes; protect the service against fraud and misuse; send account, review, and operational notices; measure site usage; maintain records; and comply with law. Promotional email, if used, should be described here and offered with applicable opt-out rights.

What is public

Producer profile details, including names, NPNs, licensing and business contact information, can be publicly displayed and indexed by search engines. Claimed status identifies an account relationship with a profile; it is not a guarantee of current licensing or professional quality. A published review may show a reviewer’s first name and last initial, rating, text, and an agent reply. Reviewer email addresses and IP addresses are not intended for public display. Avoid submitting medical, financial, policy, or other sensitive personal details in reviews.

Sources, sharing, and service providers

We may obtain licensing information from insurance regulators or other authorized data providers and combine it with producer-submitted information. We may share information with hosting, email delivery, anti-abuse, analytics, and other service providers acting on our behalf. We may disclose information to comply with legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer. We do not represent that public licensing information was collected directly from every producer.

Retention and security

We retain information as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including directory operation, disputes, security, recordkeeping, and legal obligations. Specific retention periods, including for review verification and IP logs, should be inserted after they are confirmed. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You may request access, correction, or deletion of information where applicable law provides those rights, subject to legal exceptions and the public-record nature of some license data. Agents can use the profile correction process to request changes and provide supporting documentation. You may opt out of nonessential email using the provided link or by contacting us. Some privacy laws provide additional rights such as appeal or opt out of certain data uses; applicable rights and methods should be added after a state-law review.

Children, changes, and contact

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy and will post the effective date of the revised version. For privacy requests, contact support department. We may need to verify a request before acting.
